After discovering an oil spill polluting her land, a lonely woman seeks to avenge the death of her closest companion and punish the guilty through an extreme act of defiance.

The time has come for the newly initiated princesses to perform the rain ceremony to their gods; in hopes that the rains will fall. Princess Goitsemedi, at first shy's away from performing the dance but as conditions get worse and the dancers begin to faint, she is faced with the task of performing the dance against the Queen's wishes.
